Unlock lights

I’ve enabled drl on via obd reader for the fog lights, and it works when ignition was turned on, but say for example the car has been stationary for a while, the drl fogs don’t turn on automatically when unlocking the car, even when it’s dark outside.

Am I missing something here?

Does your Dash and stalk allow you to get into the settings for 'Lights'? On my a3 8p it has the options for coming home durations.

If it’s stood for long times and the battery voltage drops too low they stop working too.

Yes, and the Coming Home lights are turned on.

Hmm, but the car has been driven during the day.

I don’t see an option for that on the cluster. i do have a button for chl on the light switch, which is enabled.
