Unpairing Mobile Phone from TT

When you change your mobile phone do you need to unpair the old one from the car and if so how do you unpair it?

Not really, but just unpair from the handset or go to phone settings in the car.

I don't have the phone anymore so will try and do it in the car, the main reason I ask is that I was concerned you could only pair a limited number of devices at the same time.
