Upgrading A3 8P headunit, recommendations please satnav/DAB

I'm looking at upgrading the headunit on my A3, wondering if to buy the Audi Navigation system or go with another, i would like it to have DAB on also can i have some feedback on some alternative units please?

Why not check out the ice/ sat nav section on site heaps off relevant info in there to read and give u choices

I'm going the Airplay route to use Waze, kept much more up to date than the Audi Nav system and with DAB, bluetooth etc. I've got a Pioneer AVH-Z9200DAB ready to fit provided it passes the MOT next week Wireless carplay and I'll couple it with a wireless charger in the ashtray replacement tray, now I don't need the ashtray for parking change anymore, how times change.

Android Auto is the feature that links Android phones to car stereos, not sure exactly what it does.
