Upgrading to S4 front brakes on my A6?

Can anyone help, i've bought a set of twin pot calipers and discs off a pre 1999 S4, i've been told that they will bolt straight on to my hubs.

Is this so?

I've got a 1998 Audi A6 1.9TDi

Will i need a different carrier or a part?

Just asking before i send it in to get it done and don't get a call saying that they can't do it!

OK tried fitting them myself in the end and they do not match up.

The hub bolts are different and have different spacing.

So i'm going to fit them up, make some sort of template and get an engineering company locally to make up a strengthened bracket.

Spent nearly £300 on these and am not going to get stuck now!
