ok thats good, then only thing you will need is a replacement levelling controller that supports the cornering function

your car already has the levelling sensors so no need to waste money on that.

Ok if u can tell me what parts to get then i will go get them. My car is a 62 rs3 with xenon i do not have any level sensors on front pass wish bone and not checked the rear.
So far i only have both front headlights with bulbs and modules under them.

if you have factory Xenon headlights then you will also have the front and rear levelling sensors in place. you just need to upgrade the levelling module to the AFS type.

Hello buddy no i have not and iv checked iv defo not got no level sensor on the front wishbones.

I am gna strip out the glove box tomorow to check part num off the headlight control module and if its not the one i need i will orded new one as i cant find a second hand module. I dnt relly knw from what model and years cars have the module to locate a secont hand unit ??? Iv tried a few q7 breakers with no luck.

So a lil update. I got the new module and fitted it took the mill light off and i also checked a fellow rs3 with adaptive lights and it does not have level sensor on the front. Narther do some tt cars.

According to ETKA the RS3 has has both sensors and the module.

Having been under the RS 3 at the weekend fitting the new rear drilled discs I can confirm it does have the above sensor fitted to the rear.

I have rear sensors and changed the module but i dnt have front ones. I asked ppl and no one replyed so i jus bought a ross tech cable. Cars in dealers getting new calipers discs pads. 2xrear door window black shines tringles as starting to corrode. A engine and gearbox ecu upgrade. The **** guards mod. Haldex upgrade

Will have a mess with it to see if i can jus get the module coded and works or need to install a front sensor but acording to tps guy he checked another rs3 and it had adaptive lights and did not have a front sensor.

This is what is says on else atm for normal xenon plus headlights.
J431 headlight range mod = headlight 14 pin connector
17=1
19=2
16=3
18=4

For adaptive curve headlights
J431 = headlight 14 pin connector

18=1
19=2

With pin 4 on 14 pin headligt needs power +
Pin 14 to ground

Pin 4 and 14 is for power to headlights module
Please correct me if i am wrong

Hi jay! did you figure it out? i have somewhat the same problem. i had factory xenonx with auto level and changed them with one with cornering too. no DRLs on either.
do i just need a new module that has cornernir? and what wires i should change on the 14 pin connector of the car to match the headlight pinout.
