A quick guide to doing this.
1) disconnect battery then Remove the airbag by inserting a flat blade into the 2 holes at the rear.
It’s helpful to remove the top column trim with the leather cover that attaches to the virtual cockpit, to aid screwdriver access.
There’s an AirBag YouTube guide if you get stuck doing this.
Disconnect the AirBag multi plug and set it aside
2) Remove the steering wheel gloss surround / buttons assembly.
To do this you need to insert a trim tool inbetween the alcantara / switch part and gently lever it forward/out, but not all the way, just enough to pop the clips out of their slots.
You can then gently lift up the black T shaped tabs around the circumference and it’ll come away enough for you to unplug the white paddle multiplug on each side.
3) you should then see the paddle mounting Torx screw which just requires undoing.
Note how the paddle wires sit / locate too.
4) Remove the hinge pin from the OEM mounting plate, tap it out with a pick tool and then you can grab it with grips as it moves out.
Then it’s just a matter of transferring the mounting plate / pin assembly to the new Urus paddle.
Once you’ve done both refit them into the wheel and refit the Torx screw.
Plug everything back into the wheel button assembly and refit it back into the wheel.
Connect the airbag loom / connector
Make sure you insert the black connector back into its foam cutout at the back.
Carefully refit the airbag making sure it seats evenly and test the horn once you re-connect the battery.
