Remembered i bought this years ago with a cable from ross-tech(see pic)

So was just wondering if this cable will work with an 8V s3? still have the softwear on a laptop so might need up dating, if its no good for my car any body who wants it for an older car can have it.

After bit more reasearch this is for older cars mk4 and older.

Thanks for that will email them see what they say one can only ask. They never mentioned it when I spoke to them.

Not sure on the Passat I used it on a vr6,
V6 4motion and a tdi mk4 I spoke with a Ross-tech dealer he. Said it would fit cars mk4 and earlier if that helps.
