hi all anyone know of a vag specialist in the essex area have been to one suposide specialist and when he saw my s4 he said ooooo didn't know they did a v6 one of these not seen one of these b4 :busted_cop::busted_cop::busted_cop::busted_cop::busted_cop: :wtf::wtf::wtf::wtf::wtf:

i took my car away and am now posting on here for some one by recomendation:tumble::tumble::tumble::tumble:

I've used these people before, the owner use to work at Audi Chelmsford, as the Service Manager. - Strangely I was recommended them by a member of the service team at Audi Chelmsford, when I wanted something done on my car, but didn't want to spend a fortune, so he told me about him, and said he use to be the service manager.

I've also heard great things about 4rings, but never used them.

Before we send you anywhere I think maybe its more prudent to ask what it is you are looking to have done mate so we can suggest the best people cause for me AMD would be the best option over your way, but whats your car needs Paul?

since i've owned the car i've had an issue with the boost somtimes it's 7 psi and then other times whilst driving it jumps to 12psi (which it seems to run much better at) this continues for as long as 2-3 hrs then drops back to 7psi like i've hit a switch
i've changed the boost hoses for new silicone one's and checked all pipe work for leaks ( pressure tested to 1 bar for 2mins no drop)
and checked all the vacum hoses nothing obvious
i've replaced the n75 valve wich i got off seinna
and have exhausted my knowledge of previous boost issues with old school turbo engines that i've owned

hense time to get aspeciallist in :blush::blush::blush::blush:

i'm in southend on sea essex postcode SS2

AMD essex tbh mate given there tuning knowledge, but Siena is very knowledgable so I cant imagine he cant help fix it, give Shaun a shout anyway at amd & explain issues, see if they have any ideas.

Is it one of those small pipework leaks that only shows when warmed up, just speculating tbh, as have known this to happen, cold start fine, then when engine warmed up pipe is more flexible & then the leak is apparent given cold pipe is fairly rigid, not beyond possibility no??

it's not from cold m8 it happens when it feels like it tbh
sometimes it'll go over a week at 7psi then all of a sudden it'll boost to 12 :scared2::scared2::scared2::scared2::scared2:

am i right in saying that if the ecu is letting it get 12 psi then it may have been chipped as the ecu should cut the boost if it gets more than it is set to within the ecu i.e standard boost 7-8 psi :think::think::think::think::think:

TBH mate I dont want to give you wrong info so I suggest you give say AMD a ring & see what they think.

But if we were to look at Revo for one, with there maps you can set things like boost control with the Select dongle as I had on my S3, so would suggest something like you're saying I guess, but what about an ecu flash at audi to stock as I assume you havnt put any maps on the car so wont affect any mods you've done as if it has been mapped & its crap then this should iron it out & ecu update/reflash wont take longer than an hour so minimal costs, just ideas.
