Can anyone tell me if the diamond-polished sections of my rotor alloys have a lacquer coating on them? I ordered some ValetPro Bilberry Juice cleaner, it was delivered today and on reading the instructions, I notice it says suitable for painted and or lacquered finish but not polished surfaces.

Can I use it?

@jdp1962 - Nice to see you in this section Jeff :thumbs up:

I'm assuming the product you are refering to is VP Bilberry wheel cleaner
https://www.valetpro.global/Wheel-Cleaners/56-/Bilberry-Wheel-Cleaner

I can't see it being any probs on the diamond cut section on the rotors on your S4
I used 'neat' CarPro IronX on my old S4's rortors
IronX is quite acidic and I had no probs

If you are a little worried Jeff, dilute it down, say around 5:1 (5 parts water to 1 part product)

I used it on my S3 (think they were diamond cut) and also on my current A5 alloys, all good.
