Hello, new to the forum and first post, hope everyone doing good.
After looking and didn't find much information online about the vc retrofit after february 21, I decided to post a thread regarding some info.
I have a 2017 facelift A3 Etron and I found a VC on ebay really cheap, so I bought it without knowing the restriction to the immobilizer since feb 21. First thing I want to know if it's possible somehow to do the retrofit. If not, the donor car is a 2018 etron aswell. They still have available from the same car the display, the center console controls and I think the amplfier radio (not sure what he means for that, don't sound like the mmi to me). Would I be able to make it work if I buy those parts too?
Oh and my steering wheel doesn't have the veiw button either. I see that 2 of the sponsors of the forum has plenty of knowledge on this topics so maybe they can chime in?
