[VCDS] Internal ROD error

Hello,

Yesterday I fitted an 8P162335 telephone interface module (the latest model with H44 and SW 0660). Everything works as it should, with no DTC errors, however, when I open the Radio/Navigation or Telephone module in VCDS, I get this popup error.

Before I had an 8T062335 module (which is meant for the A4/A5), which didn't show this error. It was recognized in VCDS, but it didn't work.

What does this internal error mean?

my software is at version 18.9.1, another version doesn't work and it still has the error, there's another tip to do

So you're using a counterfeit vcds, as genuine is now on v21.3, use with a genuine version then test.
