hi I'm new to forum I've had lots of Audi's over the years I've just got a 2006 2.0tdi avant se ( got ripped off by dealer who went bust but that's another story) anyway the reverse sensors don't work just a long beep I gather the best way to diagnose the fault is to plug it in to vcds

So the question is does anyone have vcds near ormskirk Lancashire ?

Thanks

You can diagnose using your ear!. Get a trustworthy person to sit in the car with engine on and in reverse (with the brakes on!) then put your ear to each of the reversing sensors and you should hear a clicking sound of the sensor is working. If you can't hear the clicking noise coming from the sensor then that is your dodgy sensor. They are fairly cheap on ebay and easy to change. Job done.

I've just moved to Brinscall which is not that far from you, happy to help but you need to hurry as I'm off to Saudi on Mon to work for a while.
