For PFL cars, if you are still using an iPhone with a 30pin connector and you have the correct "red" AMI cable then the MMI can use the phone as a video source... but only while the car is below 3kph. Apple devices with lightning connectors cannot be used as a video source without extra hardware.
FL cars = untested at the moment.
If wanting video above 3kph then you will need to activate Video in Motion.
