Viewing saved files

Never had a problem before, now the file ext is not recognised. I opened the memory card using the Blackvue viewer and I got a message saying I needed a google app or something to see the map. Done that now it works fine, but the file I saved and the existing ones I had previously saved are no longer recognised by Windows Media Player.

Any ideas?

Hey mate,

Sounds like the recognised file types has been changed.

Blackvue didn't change the way it exports the files. They are still saved as .MP4! Try and open it with VLC Player or something similar like that.

Thank you. They open fine with Real player, must be a glitch with windows media player.
The file extension on the saved files is still mp4.
