VIN Number

I am trying to register my new Q5 TFSIe on the myAudi App, and I have the letter I in my VIN Number. When I put the VIN Number in the myAudi App the letter I is not registered and the number 1 is put in it's place by the app. I have tried the camera as well as manual input with no joy. The number 1 is not recognised by the app as being within the VIN Number.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?
