VIN Plate Location (detailed, not just VIN number)

Hi, I'm trying to order an eManual online for my Audi, but they screwed up (got a guide for a specific Audi 2ltr diesel engine, I want one for an entire 5.2ltr S6 car) and now require the details off the vin plate to sort the issue.
Problem is, I can't find it?!
I know about the basic VIN number, as that's all over the car, but I can't find the plate in the engine bay or either B pillar (door jam) etc.

Perhaps you're after the vehicle data sticker (which lists VIN, sales type, paint/engine/gearbox/option codes)?

There are usually two copies - one in the spare wheel well (if not there possibly under a rear seat), the second should be on the inside front cover of your service book.
