Violent shake to steering wheel on start/restart 2.0Tdi 190ps

Have others noticed this as per the title? It’s especially annoying having stop/start activated. I’ve noticed it’s worse when the steering wheel is moved closer to the driver and when it’s a cold start. I like driving with my elbows bent and my legs straight. Having driven 2 courtesy A6 c7’s with the same engine I’ve not noticed this. Is this a quirk of the car? What about other flavours of the b9? I’ll get a video up once I get my car back from a second trip warranty claim.

Not with mine, the engine is stopped at a specific cycle to aid restarting when stop/start is activated and it should restart smoother. Though I have noticed more vibrations generally with a diesel engined A4 than with my petrol version...

Not noticed any judder with mine either (petrol engine). If it is still in with the workshop for the gearbox leak, probably best mention it to them to see if they pick anything up when they road test it.
