Less then a year after the launch of the Ultrac Vorti, Vredestein propose its successor; Ultrac Vorti R, their sportiest tyre to date. Inspired by Ultrac Vorti, the new tyre has an improved tread design. Once again we can see the unique tyre design of the Italian designer Giugiaro, who has been working with Vredestein for years.
Vredesteinâs Ultrac Vorti R has an extra-wide tread design which offers superior grip and handling, especially when cornering. The tread compound of the Ultrac Vorti R contains multiple resins that are activated at different temperatures. This allows the tyre to maintain a high level of grip over a wide range of temperatures for longer periods. Grip, precision and sportiness are reinforced since the Ultrac Vorti R offers asymmetric tyres with different sizes for front and rear tyres.
Benefitted by a number of other technologies, with its Y speed rating, the Ultrac Vorti R is adapted to seduce its "Audience"; high performance and sporty car owners (Porsche 911, Audi R8, Lamborghini Gallardoâ¦). During the Salon de Genève, Vredestein showed the result of the cooperation with Hamann, a firm that customizes top of the range car models. Vredestein has developed a range of tyres featuring the Hamann logo on the sidewall.
