My 2006 1.4tdi lost sudden power, then billowed out lots of smoke whilst driving! Symptoms were slight hesitation, then smoke everywhere..I was able to pull over safely and the engine started to rev up. I switched off immediately. Car is now in mates garage.Turbo and intercooler pipes r fine,but oil level is Extremely high on dip stick! Any help appreciated.

Sounds like excessive fuelling...such that it's getting by the rings into sump (hence high oil level) -> check injectors integrity.
