So I am a newish audi owner, got my audi a3 1.9 tdi diesel in january.
Through the winter I have noticed that the drivers footwell is sodden and the foot well behind the the driver is aswell. I have pulled up the flashing where the wipers are to see if there's a blockage but no blockage so unsure there. The water doesnt seem to smell chemicley so I don't think it's the screen wash but also unsure ans I had covid couple weeks ago and still can't smell properly.
Any ideas or help would be mutch appreciated or ideas where to look.
Cheers

Check rear seats too, door sills are 1 place to check.

MIne did this due to the rear wash squirter getting blocked, me not knowing and continuing to try it and water coming in the car.

If it's coolant you'll get a "film" on the inside of the windscreen, and will smell sweet

How did you fix this? My rear wiper and spray don't work so could be this

Remove the cap, pull of the jet and retry the washer

The cap was blocked. Removed it and the the cleaner came out just fine. Put the blocked cap back on to see if the cleaner was coming out the pipe anywhere in the car but there is no visible leakage along the line through the car

We never found the leak source either. Not had any water ingress since
