I have recently done the following.

washed
clayed
polished
final polished
final touch
wax raceglaze 55 :sm4:

I am wondering what everyone else does to build up coats of wax.

eg

when its time to wash again do i just wash then re apply another coat of wax or will i have to clean the surface more before applying the wax. if so how often would anyone suggest reapplying wax coats.

Yeh, wash, rinse, dry carefully with the use of a quick detailer spray and dry gently. Then apply your wax, sometimes a little QD on your applicator works well to reduce likelihood of swirling. You're on the right track.:icon_thumright:

I would aim to get one coat a week on until 3-4 coats are established. Then I would ease back to topping up every 8-12 weeks until the time comes to start over from scratch by decontaminating the finish (usually six months or so later). When adding fresh wax layers, John's advice is spot on.

Me. I usually do what you do. I think that is the best process if you want to get a good output. The only difference I think are the products we use.
