Weird Intermittent Creaking

Yes, it was a right ****** to find! Actually one of the things I did to confirm it was to get the other half to turn the steering wheel from lock to lock on the drive whilst I had the bonnet up and this was enough to allow the bearing on the right strut top to reveal itself as the cause of the problem.

Here's the sound I'm expierencing. Do you reckon it's similar?

Sounds like someone has a typewriter and is at work on a their new novel!

I also had a bearing issue on my brand new car - on the first full day I had it (creaking car thread) - I was able to replicate it by simply pushing down on my passenger side front of the car so it bounces a bit and it made the noise- like a squeaky bed.

Discovered the creak. So when I am standing otuside the car and grab the head rest of the seat behind the driver and shake it left to right the creak noise starts. If someone sits in the seat whilst driving then there is no creak noise. I've played around with re-adjusting the seat by folding it forward and back into position but that hasn't helped.
