Wet windows / doors retaining water - normal?

When I go to my car on a dry day when it's been raining a few hours earlier, I find that I'm rolling my windows down and they come back up wet. Is this normal or should I be concerned that the water isn't escaping out the bottom of the door properly? I'm sure I never had this much water on them in my previous car...

I have this in my 8p. I think it is normal, it is just the felt that gets wet.

Also think this is normal, same on previous Golf Mk6 and also notice it from time to time on the new A3.
