What Colour RS3 Have You Ordered?

Uni Green looks a little lighter in shade than Viper Green ??? Difficult to tell tbh given the lighting plus Auditography's car vlog was filmed against a snow covered backdrop

I'd say so too, but photos hardly ever look like the colour does in person

Ara Blue will look sensational on a 8Y but l do get where your coming from with Ara being used previously used on some of the other Audi model line up l am sure Ara was exclusively used on the R8 then after a year used on the Q2.."yuk" then on the 8V S3/RS3 but Ara is still a beautiful colour ....l compare paint colours along the lines of a nice suit it's the body underneath the suit that makes it special not the suit ...ergo

I do like the Ara blue a lot, but for me it is more being different and not the same as every Tom, **** and Harry, this Harry wants to be different lol.
The ara blue used on 8v, was this a standard paint or an exclusive option? Sorry just new to the audi cars.

When I first placed my order I sent a picture of a 8v rs3 to the dealers but they said it wasn't an audi colour and it was a chrome wrap and that's what made me look into the lambo blue. Ended up actually being ara blue that the dealer refused on my inital order making me wait a 2 months while they spoke to "Germany " and audi uk to finalise a colour! I'll attach the picture which I sent on my inital order when books opened (Order finalised in Nov).

To be Honest there's not much between nethuns and Ara....Ara Blue was initially a Audi Exclusive paint colour but like l said used on other models later and now it's NA Except if you Exclusive, Ara is a Crystal paint by that l mean the metallic fleck is a lot larger than in any other Audi metallic paint.. think it was an £800 paint option

Ah right makes sense. Just wanted something that not everyone has. Spoke to dealer today still no build date though, asked if I suggested changing to and rs6 instead but the they advised the lead times will be the same so I'll just stick to the rs3 for now. Thank you though bud.

Mine will be Kemora grey as it’s the colour my wife likes most and its acceptable for me. I had picked Daytona grey so both choices are the top of the leader board!

I agree with that, I looked for an RS4 but I just dismissed the Nardo grey ones and the Kemora grey on the RS3 has the same effect on me, it just looks miserable to me, like a drab winters day, another colour that I would never own is VW White Silver, it just looks dirty and not in a good way

I wonder how many choose grey because it's the 'in' colour and have an eye on resale desirability?

For me it's also 'wrong' to put all the greys in the same box, I would happily own an RS3 or RS4 in Daytona grey, I just (imho) cant see any of the greys edging towards the grey primer colour very appealing

IMHO, really looks like an evolution from Nardo to this…

Never got on with Nardo it was the colour of the demo car l drove back in early 2016 ....Kemora av seen in the metal it makes the car look ordinary plus add in the colourless interior ... l need some colour/contrast in/on my own car ....some folks don't

I doubt age has anything to do with the colour of the car you buy. People chose grey because they like it. Colour is 100% subjective, what's so difficult to understand about that? I've had Nardo on an RS3, looked great to my eyes. Went for Riviera Blue on my TT, looks great, but saw an RS4 in same colour, looked not so great to me - simply as that colour seems to suit the TT better. Colour - it's subjective...

It’s a shame they removed nardo. I prefer that to kemora but kemora the best of the rest for me. Daytona looks nice but hides some the contrasting black/carbon accents. Plus my wife hates Daytona for some reason so would never be an option

I have owned a Daytona grey RS3 for 8 years, so this time choose between Kemora grey and turbo blue. As my M2 is also long beach blue, so I try Kemora grey this time. Looking at the real car in Kemora Grey, it's very nice.

As Kemora grey is at no cost option, so "may" speed up your build week allocation, check with the dealer, if its the same order or new order at the new price.
I debated over Kemora or Dayona or Kyalami and chose Daytona.
