What do i need to do....

OK guys heres a good question for you, and if someone can, list off what i need to do in order to get a K04 turbo to fit in place of a K03S (AUM A3 1.8TS is the car and engine code ive got), what else do i need to change and where can i get the stuff? im planning on doing this soon then remapping again but i want a "for sure" list of what i need to do!

can any of you out there let me know how much you would charge to modify my 1.8T to fit the stuff on that ebay listing?

K04 turbo, downpipe, cat, injectors out of an APY engine and i want them fitted to a AUM.

now then! you may wanna try quattronics or sum1 t
like that cos the job may be to specialised for a normal run of the mill garage!

i looked into the change and i dont think the engine will run after the hardware is fitted!

on top of the stuff on ebay you also need:

4 bar fpr, (i guess ur going for as much power as u can out of it) £75
Samco Tip for a tt or s3. £120
injector spacers, the s3 ones are shorter i believe, possibly the electrical connectors are different to. $30 from america
the exhaust hangers for the twin cats need adjusting
3" maf sensor
bigger air box (s3 one etc) £??
bigger ic the single one wont be able to cope with all that extra air. £400 upover
gasket set £30 ish

i priced the conversion at about £3K thats was without labour fitting it. imo for an extra 60-80 bhp it aint worth it. when compaired to the jabba ihi upgrade is £2.5k

i looked into this as well got it all rpiced up was goign to go ahead with it but then thought all that money isnt worth it id prefer to put the money towards an S3 you can pick them up fairly cheap now!

sound advice thank you, i can imagine it would cost a fortune for a measly 60-80bhp, better off selling the 1.8T and gettin an S3 and remapping that, id probably save money, coz when converting stuff, it never goes smoothly.
