Facelift What is this?

What is that part (that I’ve circled)?

I was just cleaning the car and pushed it down on the corner by accident slightly. I’d love to get it back to the correct position but no idea what it is.

It’s not the washers for the lights as that’s above it. And the parking sensor is the little round sensor. And that part isn’t on the other side of the car either. So what is it?

I do have park assist (self parking) but if it’s an extra sensor why does it move and why isn’t it on both sides?!

Yeah mate its a cover for when it needs towed which hopefully never needs to be used lol.

Probably need to push it back from inside the bumper or completely remove it and reinsert it. Probably on plastic tabs.

RAC took mine out (on an older car!) with a flat plastic body trim remover.

Yeah it does pop out. Looks like yours has somehow gone in further than it should have so may be tricky.

Isn’t it in the owners manual how to take it out?

So I checked the manual. If you push down quite hard and firm it pops out. It’s not possible to get it flush again but at least it’s not actually damaged.

It goes back flush. Mine has been in and out a few times when on track.
