What Size Disks and Pads A6 C6 168bhp 2.0TDI

Hi all,

Need to replace disks and pads all round on my 2010 A6 Saloon 2.0 TDI 168bhp.

I need to know what sizes I need to buy for both front and rear.

At a guess I think the sizes are 321mm front and 302mm rear. Please correct me if I am wrong.

A family friend is going to fit them but I need to know the disk sizes. Also does the front pads have a sensor because there is no option on MMI to see how worn the pads are. All the pads I have seen have the wear sensor on them on the websites I have gone to.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check your PR codes on the data sticker in the spare wheel well or inside of the front service book

1LT = 314x25mm
1LG / 1LV = 321x30mm
1ZL / 1ZT = 347x30mm
1LJ = 385x36mm
1LL = 360x34mm

Rear
1KD / 1KQ = 302x12mm
1KW / 2EL = 330x22mm

Sensors on the front pads only.

Thanks for that, very helpful. Is there a reason there are sensors as I can't find anywhere on the MMI about brake condition or is that an option for the MMI.

Not an option for the VAG group, thats more of a BMW thing.

You just get a visual alert on the DIS when the pads get low or when the wire breaks.

I worked for BMW for 2 years so thats where I probably got that from lol. Appreciate the info.

What thickness did you went for, bud? Have an avant and will check my sticker later on.
Had mine 4 corners done about 6 months ago but thought of upgrade to drilled disc's.
