Not really cheap mate as only 4L so would need another 1L for S3 owners ...... Better deal is Shell Helix 5L £29 :)

I'm struggling to find it is a VW approved oil , it just says " specification " . Where as Quantum , Shell and Mobil 1 will say "504.00 507.00 approved."

The usual method of describing a non approved oil is " meets or exceeds the requirements of 504.00 507.00"

Best bang for buck 504.00 507.00 I found was a non approved reduced from £26 for 5L to £19 .

I tend to use Opieoils.. I just bought Gulf oil at around £30 delivered... Always like the free gloves, funnel and airfreshner too :)

I have the audi long life schedule its says service in another 14400 miles and I need to do a oil change in 2345 miles so when I do change it should I just do 5w40?

Personally I wouldn't put any cheap oil in my engine. And definitely only approved oil will go in as it has certain additives to protect your engine and gaskets, start putting in inadequate oils then expect to blow a gasket seal and hope its not the head gasket.
