Hey guys! I just bought myself a new car! :) It's an Audi A3 2002 model. But the rims are really boring and I want to upgrade the look. But I don't know what rims I want. Can you guys give me some advice of what kind of rims would be nice for my ride? I want 18 inches :) 20130701 211727

Here's a pic of my car. Any good Ideas? I'm not loaded with money, so would be nice to get some in the mid price range or something :)

If you're looking to upgrade but keep it budget, might be better off going for 17's. Not only are the wheels generally cheaper, tyre prices are what make a big difference... TT Comps and S3 wheels are 17".

But 18's do look good and they're what I run.

To me, 17" is to little. I want as little rubber as possible, but still have a comfortable ride. I think 18" or even 19" would be nice.

Ive seen a silver 8L with Golf R reps (similar to the rs6 gen2)

Looks very good and mind youbit was sitting on 19s and also sitting very low.

Hi i have 18 and my car is similar colour

Bigger wheels don't give you a more comfortable ride. Less tyre = less sidewall flex = harsher ride. 18's won't give you more comfort or handling. It's purely aesthetic and costs more...

I went for 18's because they fill the arches better, but in the OP it seemed like cost was important.

I know the bigger you get the harsher the ride gets. Personally I think 18's are perfect, even if the ride is mor uncomfortable.

rs4/s lines with the black edges come up cheap fairly often... i like those. i realised after i bought my dare bbs lm reps that everyone had them at some point but i like em. looking for some light weight speedlines or similar atm myself as a second set for santa pod ect... heres a pic of my pre facelift s3 on standard suspension on 18'sView attachment 17825
