What's 25nm feel like?

What would u say tightening to 25nm feels like??

I'm fitting a downpipe to my 2002 s3 (f-Ing pig of a job) and I can't get a socket on one of the nuts, what would 25nm feel like with a spanner??

can you not just tighten another one up to 25nm to get the feel for it... nut and bolt in a vice maybe ???

I don't understand why people insist on torquing up things like this...

Just do em up tight enough so they don't fall off, and not so tight you strip the thread... Job done!

Assuming your spanner is 10cm long then it should feel like 25kg

Cheers I was being careful never changed a downpipe, flipping pain in the *** to do!!!
