Whats happened here?

I noticed a discolouration on my rear diffuser around the exhausts but i'm not sure if its heat/burned, sun damage or something else. Anyone know what it could be and what I can do about it?

I've tried cleaning it with some APC but it didn't make any difference. The car needs a wash but I doubt car shampoo will shift whatever it is

I'm thinking of putting some Gtechniq C4 (permanent trim restorer) on it but, before I do, I wanted to check if I need to do something else

I’d say just give the trim restorer a go, it just looks worn.

Apply a small amount to test and see how it goes
