What's this pipe on the air intake hose? AGN

Hi!

I'm wondering what the pipe that goes from the air intake hose close to the air filter is? It's just a closed pipe which doesn't lead anywhere. What's it's function?

AGN engine.

Nothing, there's a screw to fix it to your air filter and that's it.

Thanks for the answers. I don't have an AGN engine but need to replace the air intake hose and was offered this hose. It would probably fit but was unsure because of this "extra" pipe.

Thanks, yes that's the one. I was wondering in case it would be any issues with the "useless" pipe since I could get the one from an AGN right now, mine has fallen to pieces.
