Need to put my mind at rest :ermm:

I've fitted my new wheels & just wanted to check if it is OK the use the original length bolts. I've gone to a 18 x 8J rim ET 40 - my old ones were 17 x 7J ET 45.

The new wheels are OEM & I've not used any spacers. I know it's only 5mm but just want to be sure

You only need longer bolts if you use spacers.

Thanks for that Dave.

Also, what the recommended psi for 235/40/18 tyres ?

I have 6mm wheel spacers and i changed the bolts with longer one.

Exactly! - you have spacers so you need longer bolts.

But if you have wheels with a different ET to OE but NO spacers then you can use the OE bolts.
