Hi Everyone!

I am currently running a stock wheel on my Audi S3 which appears to be 18x7.5 +46 and a 225/40/18 wheel.
I really want to get these wheels noted. https://www.canadawheels.ca/fast-wheels/fc04-titanium-w49855

My tires are good tires and I wouldn't want to go any bigger that 235 wide. Will a 18x8 with a +30 offset clear the stock calipers? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
If I could get 18x8.5 with a +35 offset I would but I can't get them in that size.

The OP said that his tyres were good, so I would think that he doesn't want the added cost of buying new tyres, hence sticking with 18".

No I meant when I started with 16"
I was planning to upgrade so upgraded to 17" and then, upgraded to 18" and lastly to 19".
Honestly, if I lived somewhere where the roads were nice I'd 100% rock 19's. 18's are just way more comfortable here in Canada on our sh*t roads hahaha

But how wide is the rim? If it was a 18x9 or 19x9 then the offset at 35 would be bad like shown, but if it were an 18x8 or 19x8 with the offset 35 it should stick out that much...

Well in uk the roads are catastrophic too basically in whole or whole world because the roads were built after ww2 so in 1950 since then they started to decay never been replaced.. :D but that wouldn't make any difference if you have 18 or 19s still bad maybe we will have to use tyre profile 50 minimum :D

It is not about wheel widness. ET is bore deepness..
But if you want ET 35 the wheel would have to be very thin :)
ET 35 is for Audi A5s
Pls check pics attached

But if you use a calculator such as https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator# the wheel width does affect how the wheel pokes out.
compare a width 8 with a 40 offset and a 8.5 with 40 offset you will see.
I wouldn't rely on universal online calculator because it is wrong..
Each car is different and have wings wider or narrower if you fit same wheels onto A4 it will be perfect because whole car is wider or A5 you can you use even 20"
The calculator only works because it asks you what you been using originally.. But has no idea about wings widness and experimenting. The best is to try it in real life and see how it will look.. Some ppl will appreciate the sticking out some like flush.. You know... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Offset is all about the wheel width. You even confirm this in the pictures you include in your comment Peter.
if a wheel is 8” wide with a zero offset, then the hub face is 4” in from each face.
if a wheel is 9” wide with a zero offset, then the hub face is 4.5” from each face. This wheel will therefore be 0.5” further out than the 8” wheel.

If that then protrudes from the arch, you apply an offset to say bring the outside face closer to the hub face. You would then be for example, 5” from the inside and 4” from the outside face.
wider wheel, same alignment relative to the arch

I know but there are no 9J wheels for a3 s3 rs3 series.. I thought that too, that 9j would fit, but been told that max for a3 chassis is 8.5j and that photo above wheel is 19" 8.5j et35
I know wider wheels more options for offset.. There are 19" 8,5j with et 40 too but that's it.
For 8j then et must be from 45 to 50

8J ET40 is flush with the fender on a sportback. If you have a saloon/sedan, you can get lower offset.

On this picture: my sportback on 235/35/19x8 ET40.
