I've recently bought a A3 3dr 8P Sline. I've been doing subtle styling mods but there is one thing annoying me. The rear wheels seem to sit very deep into arches, the front wheels sit in arches perfect. I reckon I need spacers to offset the rear wheels out which will help the look of the car overall.

I do not plan to lower the car as roads where i live do not suit this and its a everyday driver.

What is the maximum spacer size i can use without scuffing. Several threads from various forums give conflicting information.

I reckon that i need at least 10 - 15mm each side. (FYI - I'm running on OEM S Line rims)

Thanks.

All depends on the ET of the wheel your running. My BBS CK's are ET44 and rub slightly. As they are getting refurbed I have fitted a set of BE Rotors which are ET54 and I have fitted 11mm Forge spacers so becomes ET43 and they rub quite a bit when theres weight in the back of the car. Its not all the time though and only when going over bumps. Hope this helps
