Wheel Specialist before and after pics!

Just had my wheels restored/painted by the Wheel Specialist in South Wales. Really pleased with the job they did, so thought I would share the before and after pics...!

Looks alright, Not a fan personally but think they could grow on me. Wanted to get my RS6s painted but think i'll wait to get some wheels in the new year!

I think the car overall would look better if the calipers were a different colour.
Any close up photos of the alloys?
If you don't mind me asking how much you pay?
Not a fan of dark RS6 alloys in less there the new style.
But glad your pleased with the outcome:thumbsup:

I have the same kinda thing with mine but went with the 30quid option and done them myself as i dont have the money to get them properly done xD but mine arnt black there Lava Greay Perl and just gives a the car a very unique look as there is about 3 of the same colour and 2 of them have the same wheels as mine! so im very happy with them untill i get another set of wheels xD haha

i agree with the above looks good but not too sure on the caliper colour maybe get a optics grill too then it would look better

And before i get like a million replies saying "neeeds lowering" YES i am getting it lowered when A) i got the money as im only 21 and can barely afford the car xD haha or B) when the set of A & R Springs that i won from MAXPOWER show up! and then hopefully me and my mate will put them on <3 also still thinking of a colour for the brake calipers and getting rid of the rear wiper aswell once we got some decent weather as all my work has to be done on our lil road xD haha

the wheels i like but the tints on the rear lights really not liking it, would look better with 2011 rear lights imho

I also am not feeling the car sorry, rear tints to the lights ruin the rear end for me, you could do with the MY10/MY10 lights, that'll change it completely.

Wheels, not sure what to think of them but as long as you like, that's all that matters!

agree with a lot of the above. the lights definitely have to go. the wheels are a matter of choice, but they're not to my taste. i don't like black wheels on a black car, unless they have polished rims and even then it's a maybe.

but i also agree that it's what you think that matters. if you like it then good for you

Ash, not entirely sure Jon @ the wheel specialist wants me to publicise on here how much i paid as i had a cracking deal from them... I'd had work done with them previously on my old car and sent a few other people their way for refurbs, etc so ended up with a healthy discount and free chrome valves.

I'd recommend the wheel specialist if anyones looking for a refurb, the website prices are a little steep but go and chat to Jon & Steve and youll see the price tumble. Theyve got an open day on 20/11/2010 where you can win a free refurb in the raffle so might be worth going down if your in the market for a refurb!

Thanks! I'm really happy with the refurb, turned out better than i was hoping.

I'm not really a fan of black rims TBH, loose too much of the wheel definition IMO. Each to their own though.

Black on black is common, can look good on some cars and wheels. personally wouldn't do it myself.
