lol. me and a work colleage had some fun a few months ago with the works '98 1.9td transporter van. the exhaust had fallen off and been bodged back up several time in the past. it was all too rotten to patch up again.
we had some old exhausts from when we used to fit miltech's basically customers mint old systems they didnt want.
so we chopped up 2 of the same systems and knocked up a cat back straight thru system using just a center box as a back box and tt exhaust trim. was lots of fun cutting and welding it up.
looks cool and the turbo whistle on tickover and low revs sounds awesome. deffo feels slightly faster too.
yea theres a few guys with threads on here and they say it's not a great deal louder with normal driving but just gives the normally bland diesel noise a bit more whistle and grunt with foot down! Driving noise is the thing I miss the most owning a diesel!! it also reduces the smoke apparently as there is no build up of crap lying around like you get in the back box...
