which adapter do i need ?

hi all, i have just fitted a alpine cda 9855r to my 2002 a4 and have no sound to the rear speakers, i have read i can either directly wire them to the hu or get an adapter.
can anyone tell me which part number for the adapter i need or post a link ?
is it autoleads part number PC9-409 ?

409 or 404 will do the job, but even with the correct adapter the rears will be very quiet compared to the fronts, you'll have to fade quite a way to the rear to get a balanced sound.

thanks andy, there are many many sound functions on the old 9855r so im hoping i can get it level.

But you are compromising the sound of a decent HU by using the ****** little fisher price amp for the rears!
