Which is better looking - S3 sportback or 3 door S3?

But for usable space i think the SB wins. Although the cubic capacity measurement is greater for the saloon, in everyday circumstances where we have to shift boxes and other tall items you are restricted by the boot opening. At least with a SB you have a usable height. The actual capacities are:

Saloon - 425 rear seats upright versus 880 folded
SB - 380 rear seats upright versus 1220 folded

Think that says it all?
 
I have a 3 series saloon and it is got a bigger boot than my SB but its difficult to load kids prams and stuff in it. Saloon suffers from the restricted opening - which can mean hard work in real life.
 
I rather think it is obvious that a saloon has a smaller opening than a hatchback, however as I have no need to carry around washing machines a saloon is perfect...
