I am just curious why some dealers seem to give better discounts for new cars than others ,
Is it due to volume of sales ( sell more better discount from Audi).
More customers so less profit to get sales ,
How come some dealers can match brokers prices while others don't /cant even try (some Scottish dealers ).
Cheltenham Audi seem to get good reports and sell loads of new cars usually as I understand it via brokers . How do they do it when other groups cant .

Most probably more sales = more discount from Audi (or lenient pricing). Cheltenham might have a larger pool of potential/repeat customers than Audi in Greenock for example.

There are many factors that have an influence on the price the dealers pay for the cars. This then affects the price and discount they can sell them for.

After that it's just how good a haggler you are :) But there is ALWAYS a deal to be had.
