Just wondering I have a 2004 plate a3 8p and someone hit the mirror took it clean off!! .

So looking for a new unit but mot sure what the cut off point will be
As on eBay at present not many around

You will need the entire unit with mounting plate.

Someone ripped my mirror off was left with the arm that the mirror sits on.

Had to get a whole new unit.

Need to take door card off to fit.

I got mine from an online scrap yard for £120. This include the glass.

Yh I no.what to get just seeing other mirror fit from newer a3s Abd cut off point is 2010 plate one near breaking that's all

Oh.... You didn't make that very clear.

As long as it hasn't got an indicator strip in the cover you should be ok.

I think it changed some point in 2008. (Not sure exactly).
