Hi i have a audi A4 2006 2l tdi i want to connect a extra female lighter plug but it must only have power when the car is on or running not when it is off but i can't get to the ignition to tap on the power when the car is on can anyone help me please

Yes there are some terminals below the steering column. Just take the knee bolster out and you will see them.
