I've recently fitted a towbar but now need to wire the lighting socket up.
It's a 2010 A4 Avant 2.0 tdi.
The wires from the socket is in the boot ready and it needs to be connected up.
I have a universal relay along with the cable from the socket.
Can anyone offer any advice on how to wire this or is anyone aware of a guide anywhere that would help.
The tow bar and electrics were removed off the same model as mine so I know the electrics kit is compatable, I've wired my towbars in the past but not on a car that tells you bulbs are out etc.
I'm aware that you can get dedicated wiring kits but these are pretty pricey, I've managed to get the westfalia detachable towbar and electrics for £70 in like new condition, so a bargain really.
I've been quoted £65 for wiring it up but I do like to do things myself if I can.
