Hi all, hoping for some direction for the next step with upgrading my diesel. I have a 2004 2.0 tdi a3 with DSG and am currently running about 185 bhp and 420NM. I was looking to buy a hybrid turbo but made the mistake of buying an ‘upgraded’ turbo, which has upgraded internals, but no size...

I would assume that pushing past 220hp is going to need an upgraded clutch. Mine is 195hp and wheel spins like crazy, can’t imagine what yours must be like lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have literally just had my 2.0 tdi remapped, best you would get with standard turbo would be about 175-185hp. However, the standard turbos are known for blowing up when the power is increased, safe option would be getting an refurbished one with upgraded parts. [emoji1360] Sent from my iPhone...
