I have just got a new interior for a great price, the only issue is the passenger side airbag has gone off in the front seat. How much will I be looking at to get it repaired and new airbag in?

Or where is the best place to source a new red leather front seat for a 3door?

Thanks in advance.

I cant remember off the top of my head but has it ripped a hole in the side bolster or just ripped the specialist stitching like most cars do these days (ie just needs sewing back up?),some estimating systems bring up to fit a seat frame aswell but we have never known one yet what bends, distorts or weakens the frame in anyway,if its just a re-sew we have ours done locally at a trimmers in sheffield but any automotive trimmer should be able to do this if so

You'll also need the airbag light to be reset... Just changing the cover won't make the light go out

He wont as its a new interior and not his,so his module has no faults stored aslong as he disconnects his battery when fitting

Yes sorry just realised whats happening as long as the connections and a new airbag module is the same so as not to create a fault code

Forgot to disconnect the battery when fitting the seats, and I didn't swap covers in the end so my passenger seat has no air bag. I tried using a resistor to fool the car into thinking there is an airbag but I am not sure if I did it correctly. I put the legs of the resistor between the green and white wires is this right as the light is still on.
I'm trying to find a new passenger seat but I don't want the air bag light on until then as it's bugging me.
