Airtec intercooler kit??

Has anyone got any experience with the airtec kit for the 8l I've done a few searches and can only find info on the 8p kit, I'm assuming they've just released it as I haven't seen it before, messaged awesome gti and it's 60mm core with 60mm pipe work, so should be reasonable for 300bhp?

Looks ok tbh... good surface area... even has side deflectors to help channel the air to the core rather than air (being lazy) skirting around it...

Not sure I would want that length of silicon vs a hard pipe but it looks a well thought out solution that includes a bracket for the horns etc too and not a bad price..

I can't see that being an issue for 300hp at all tbh...

AH Fabs V2 core is 62mm and 63mm ends so would flow more ultimately but this is certainly an alternative... be interesting to see how this fairs on a hybrid setup..

Looks like a bar and plate core... this seems to work well on the welly cooler...

I think I may go for this as I'm only looking for around 290 300bhp so ill you guys know how it goes, I had an airtec intercooler on my st and the quality is pretty good can't be faulted made good gains with it too, I'll report back when I get it ordered
