Should an electric boot on an Avant open AND close by the remote?

I am pretty sure I have seen an S4 Avant boot open and close by remote. Mine on my S-Line only opens remotely, is mine faulty??

Same on the SQ5, apparently it's a safety feature????

There's a box of tricks you can wire into mine to close it by remote but it's about £170 I think.

You can do it via vcds if you look at vagcom forum all the coding is on there

Why remote close ?? You've loaded the car just press the button on tailgate, simples

Not all comfort modules support remote close older models require extra 3rd party hardware.
