Hi

Like them or loathe them, looks like I’m going to give them a go. We live near farms etc and the car is filthy within 24hours of cleaning it.

I’ve got 2017 S3, and struggling to find OEM parts that are compatible with side skirts. Even if OEM exist.

Any one know of any?

Thanks

They definitely do exist, I have seen them fitted to a new 2018 S3 Saloon in a dealers showroom.
Sorry I can't help with part numbers though.

These are sportback part numbers. I have them fitted on my 2018 s3. They help with the chunkier bits of mud and crap but the spray still gets down the sides. I live near farms and building sites that’s why I got them.

RON 240 is right - They do exist but I had them fitted to an 8P S-Line and they were so small they didn't seem to have that much effect if I'm honest

That's a stunning looking car!

For those that are interested, I have designed some ‘stealth’ wheel arch splash guards for my S3…

They look good, I was thinking of something along those lines myself but decided on the Audi ones which are now growing on me.
For anyone who may be interested the part numbers for these are below and fit the facelift S3 saloon and the facelift A3 S-Line saloon.

Funny, it was this thread and the photos of the Audi Mud Guards that started me on this journey…have to say, the Audi ones aren’t in keeping with the lines of the car at all...nor are the AP Design arch guards - too big.

here is a wider angle shot..

I understand your thoughts, I had similar to yours ally stone guards on my Merc which stopped stone chips but the side of the car still got covered when it rained, my thoughts being that any spray simply hit the flat plate and was blown up the side of the car. The Audi ones have a recess that catches the water and it’s directed down and under the car. I’m pleased with how they keep the car clean and accept the way they look, although my wife’s Golf ones look a lot better.

I have aftermarket flaps on my S3 and very happy with them, proper heavy duty with alloy bonded inserts. Much better looking than the clumsy and chunky OE tiny flaps as mine stop the majority of stones/crud from going everywhere and spoiling the paintwork. I've got further pics and a link to the seller in my diary here.
