Looking at eibach lowering springs for my 1.8t sport, as its considerably cheaper than buying a pair of front sport springs from main stealer. Trouble is I have two options, one is front axle load rate up to 950kgs the second up to 1000kgs. Both say they're suitable for all 8l models (I'd imagine aside awd models) but unsure as to whether the lower rated are for 1600cc models or if there is no real noticeable difference either way and I'm over thinking it. Any info would be great, thanks.

What does your data sticker with your axle weights say?

Ah right OK, hadn't given that a thought to be fair, I've never needed to look for it in the time we've had the car. I guess I Would I find that in the boot or something? Thanks

So I guess it's the no1 955kgs for the front and 930kgs for the rear? So presumably go for the up to 1000kgs rather than 950?

I went for the sport line kit, fancied a slightly bigger drop as sport suspension is 20mm lower than standard anyway. Though could live to regret it, we'll see
