Spare car key

Hello. I have a 2014 A4 avant and have lost my spare key. I’d like to know if anyone can advise or recommend where to get a replacement. The key I use now pushes into the dash to start the car. I’m assuming I’d need some sort of coding / cloning of the key I currently use? Thankyou

Who ever does it they will need the car for an hour or two, don’t bother with mobile auto locksmiths they will let you down when they work out what’s involved. Best quote I got a year ago was £140 at an autotech garage. Still only have one key…

So I called Audi today to see what they had to say..they quoted £442. Not sure I can bring myself to spend that on a key. There must be a cheaper alternative.
